Today in particular, I am especially thankful for my friendy friends.

There is nothing better than seeing girls that you have been close as sisters with for over fifteen years. I hadn't been physically with some of them since June, and it was like I had never left. They go to University of North Texas, University of Arkansas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State University. And they are the BEST! I was lucky enough to have friends that respected my morals and subsequent decisions and never made me feel left out or excluded. They also happen to be the funniest, happiest, most immature, most loving group of girls I have ever met. I miss them! I have made such wonderful friends up at BYU that I adore and am looking forward to seeing in a few days but I will be forever grateful for Hannah, Olivia, Rachel, Paulina, Emily, Lexi and Morgan for making grades Pre-K through 12 just so dang enjoyable. Xoxo

And I already can't wait to see them over Christmas Break :)

Its a one time thing. Really.

today was a nice day

Today was really nice. Why, you might ask?

1. I woke up and got ready in fifteen minutes.
2. I was surprisingly very productive today. I got lots and lots of things done.
3. I studied with my friend Scott for a bit and I just love him.
4. It was not too cold today.
5. Subway kids meal. Those dang chocolate chip cookies will be the death of me.
6. Modern Family.
7. I got to go to my cute friend Elizabeth's birthday party at Dear Lizzie and eat lots and lots of desserts. Dang food plays way to big a role in my life.
8. Dyed a strip of my hair red with two cute girls I want to become better friends with. Haha so teen angsty. It is what it is. We will see what the parentals think of it.
9. I have a lovely roommate who does nice things for me.
10. I GO HOME TOMORROW :)

Five days until TEXAS! I am excited to:

2. Not bring home lotsa jackets. I like the weather back home. A lot.
3. Watch my baby brother get baptized in my church!
4. Watch my not so baby brother's Court of Honor! Good for him.
5. Go to Rosa's Tortilla Factory. Mhmm there is nothing better.
6. Drive my car. I didn't realize how much I'd miss it but I really do!
7. See my friends! THEY ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE AND I MISS THEM.

9. Not study.

it's very very cold here

I haven't posted in a while. I can't decide which interface I like the best, blogger or tumblr. Oh well. These blogs are more for my own sanity then anyone else. (except my mom. Hi Mom.)

At the end of senior year, I had an emotional breakdown and decided that I couldn't go summer term. My dad gave me a blessing and I never looked back. Graduation was a breeze, I didn't even shed a tear. I was so happy and so ready to leave, and I had SUCH a fun summer. I wasn't homesick at all, to the contrary! My mom chided me on a regular basis for never calling her. This fall has been such a transition. I've been feeling so far away from home lately. Mark and Mat are getting too old, and Kate is practically an adult. Chris got his license and my mom sent me a picture of him driving my car and ugh it stuck a chord in my heart to say the least. I could not be more happy to go home in eleven days. At the same time, I've really strengthened my spiritual relationship with my Heavenly Father. Although I go to a school where so many people share my beliefs, I've had plenty of opportunities to be tested and stretched.

It's a very weird feeling to look around and know that I'll have to say goodbye to every single boy friend that I have when they leave for their missons. It's hard to decide if I want to nurture and strengthen relationships that I have now before they leave, or try to just hang out with a lot of people a little and not get too attached. I don't think I've been handling all of my friendships as well as I could have, but it is what it is. I'm so young and silly and immature- but I have so much time to grow and learn.
